Our pick
Leonie the Giraffe gift box
39,99 EUR
The one to send when you do not know the family well. A plush Leonie in a printed box with a handle, so it reads as considered rather than grabbed on the way.
- Arrives in a printed box, nothing to wrap
- The box has a handle, so it is handed over as it is
- Also comes as Marcel the Bear and Ollie the Elephant, same box, same price
It sits at the top of the price range on this page, with the other five boxes.
The gift boxes
Six gift boxes, one price
Two kinds of box, each in three characters, all 39,99 EUR and ready to give.
Plush gift box
A plush character in a 28 x 18 cm printed box with a handle.
Doudou and rattle gift set
A doudou and a matching rattle in a 21 x 21 cm printed box.
The other four
Under 20 EUR, to wrap yourself
From 9,95 EUR. These arrive in shop packaging.
02
Marcel the bear doudou
19,99 EUR
Half the price of a gift set, and it is the half that matters. If budget is the constraint, send the doudou and skip the rattle.
Pros, and the catch
- Organic cotton with a muslin body and an embroidered face
- Marked for all ages
- Works as an addition to somebody else's present
It arrives in shop packaging, so you wrap this one yourself.
03
Leonie the giraffe wooden rattle
15,95 EUR
The gift for a second or third baby, where the parents already have everything soft and nothing wooden.
Pros, and the catch
- Organic cotton head on a beech wood ring
- Marked for all ages
- Same price as the pacifier clip
A rattle alone can read as a small gift, so it works better as one of two things than as the whole present.
04
Leonie the giraffe pacifier clip
15,95 EUR
The practical one: a clip that keeps the pacifier on the pram or the cardigan instead of on the floor.
Pros, and the catch
- Beech wood clip and an organic cotton giraffe
- Same price as the rattle
- Leonie, like the rattle and the giraffe boxes
It is equipment rather than a keepsake, so send it next to something the child keeps.
05
Leonie giraffe bead maze
9,95 EUR
The lowest price here, and one for later: wooden beads on a curling wire, for a baby who can sit up.
Pros, and the catch
- Under ten euro
- Solid wood base, sized for sitting babies upwards
- Leonie again, so it matches the rest of the set
It is for a baby who can already sit up, so it is a present for later and not for the hospital.

How we chose · What this ranking is based on
Who the gift is forWe chose for the parents as much as for the baby, so the gift boxes come first and the loose pieces follow, from the doudou down to the lowest price.
Ready to give, or notThe six boxes arrive in a printed box. Everything else on this page needs wrapping. That one fact moves a gift up or down this list more than anything else does.
What we will not claimWe do not personalise, we do not print names, and we make no claim about where these are made. Anything we cannot source, we leave out.
Before you choose
Questions we get asked
Is the gift box included in the price?
Yes. The box is the packaging the gift is sold in, printed, and it is meant to be handed over exactly as it arrives.
What is the difference between the two kinds of box?
The plush gift box holds a plush character in a 28 x 18 cm printed box with a handle. The gift set holds a doudou and a matching rattle in a 21 x 21 cm printed box. Both come as Leonie, Marcel or Ollie, at the same price.
Can you personalise it with the baby's name?
No. We do not offer personalisation of any kind, on any product. If a name on the gift matters, we are not the right shop for it.
Which of these suits a christening rather than a birth?
The doudou and all six boxes work. The bead maze does not, because it is for a baby who can already sit up.
What if the parents already have one?
There are six boxes, two kinds in three characters each, so a second box is a genuinely different present rather than a duplicate.
How much is delivery?
