The cochonnet rolls out first. Then a careful underhand throw. The wooden ball lands, settles, and the whole game opens up.

Six painted wooden balls, lighter than the metal kind, easier on small grown-up wrists.

Hand-finished beech with a soft cloth pouch for carrying between gardens, parks and gravel paths.

The southern French game, scaled for ages 3 and up.
